Pollinator Week at Wolf Park

June 22nd-28th

National Pollinator Week is next week! It is an annual and international week designed to support pollinator health. Pollinator Week is time to celebrate the crucial role all pollinators play in keeping ecosystems healthy.

These tiny heroes ensure plant reproduction and food security. Visit Wolf Park June 22 – 28 to discover ways to support pollinator health, plant native species, and raise awareness for their protection. 🎉

Pollinator Week Schedule:

  • Wednesday, June 24th, Invasive Removal Volunteer Session and Mini Tour: Join our Grounds Crew from 5:30 – 8:00pm to participate in the removal of invasive plant species. All volunteers will receive a complimentary mini tour from one of our staff members!
    • To RSVP for this volunteer session, please email volunteer@wolfpark.org

  • Saturday, June 27th, Pollinator Howl Night: This special Howl Night Program comes paired with early entrance into the Park at 6:45pm and a pollinator presentation led by world-renowned wolf photographer, Monty Sloan!
  • All Week: All visitors will be able to experience a myriad of pollinator-themed activities at the park. Plan your visit to participate in a book walk, seed swap, and scavenger hunt! There will also be discounted Indiana-native plants available for purchase.

Support Our Conservation Efforts

Will you help preserve our local ecosystem? Conservation is one of the core pillars of our mission here at Wolf Park, and we are raising funds to support these efforts.

Our grounds are populated with 13 different pollinator gardens rife with Indiana-native plants, and our nature preserve is home to at least 7 different endangered species per our last survey in 2025.

All donations to this fund will directly support our conservation endeavors!
